Hi, I'm Liam. I'm a horticulturist, photographer and musician from Tasmania, Australia.

Growing up in Tasmania, I developed a deep love for wild weather, do-it-yourself culture, and potatoes. I like bushwalking, talking shop about music, cooking, and cycling (slowly).

After more than a decade working in the NGO sector and freelancing in the film and television industry, I made a career change into the horticulture industry in 2018, and have since worked in production nurseries in Victoria and a Botanical Gardens setting in Tasmania. Most recently I've been working as a Team Leader, Horticulture. I enjoy growing Australian and Tasmanian native plants and have a deep love for food gardening. I try to make the world a better place, even in small ways, through my work.

I've been shooting film since I was a kid, and continue to roll, develop, scan and print my own film. Ongoing projects have seen me learning to shoot with a 4x5 large format camera, building a darkroom underneath my house, and making silver gelatin black and white prints at home.

I have a long history of performing music, playing my first gig at age twelve, and spending most of my twenties playing in bands. I ran a record label, promoted more shows than I can count, managed a studio / rehearsal space, and have toured Australia many times over on a shoestring budget. I'm still performing a few times a year.

I acknowledge and pay my respects to the muwinina and palawa / pakana peoples, the traditional custodians of nipaluna / Hobart and lutruwita / Tasmania, the country on which I live and work.
